Have you ever heard this comment? "I enjoyed the church more when it was small because, back then, I used to know everyone!" This statement reflects two important concepts:

  • 1. people really enjoy their church when they know others on a personal basis; and
  • 2. small groups are the best format to build personal relationships within any church - large or small.

The purpose of ChristCare ministry is to strengthen our congregation by focusing on building strong personal relationships within our membership.

What is a ChristCare group?

A ChristCare group is a gathering of 3-12 people that meet for the purpose of:

  • Mutual care and encouragement
  • Prayer and worship
  • Practical Bible Study
  • Missional outreach and service

Each group independently chooses the topic of its study and the nature of its missional service and outreach.

What Are The Benefits Of Belonging To A ChristCare Group?

In a ChristCare group you can:

  • Learn more about God through the Bible,
  • Grow in your Christian faith,
  • Develop closer friendships with other people,
  • Give and receive care during life's ups and downs,
  • Pray and worship God in a small group environment,
  • Discover and develop talents for your Christian vocation
  • Reach out to others in practical ways.
