Hopefest is Hope's grand party for the congregation and community in the Fall, where fun with a purpose best expresses what it's about. This fun-packed, multi-weekend event is filled with activities for all ages. Events this year include:

• Craft Fair / Bake Sale / Tea Room: Sat., October 2nd 9 am-5pm; and Sun., October 3rd 9 am-3pm
• Family Fiesta Meal / Live & Silent Auction / Pie Contest: Saturday, October 16, 5 pm

HOPEFEST SUNDAY: Sunday, October 3 includes:

• Traditional Worship at 8 am. Casual Worship at 10 am
• Craft Fair / Bake Sale: 9am - 3pm
• Lunch: BBQ Sandwich, BBQ Loaded Bake Potato, hot dog, and all the fixings: 11am - 2pm
• Silent Auction: 11am - 3pm
• Flu Shots and Blood Drive: 9:30am - 1 pm
• Free Childrens' Games: 11 am - 2pm
• Bingo: 12:30pm-2:30 pm
• Blood Mobile: 9:30 am - 1 pm

While the theme of Hopefest is "Fun," our goal is service to others.

Hopefest is a major outreach event for our church. All monies received from the activities plus matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are used to fund local charities and congregational initiatives. Charities that will be supported by Hopefest proceeds this year include: The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Friendswood Nutrition: Meals on Wheels,  Family Outreach - Clear Lake / Bay Area, Inc., Point of Light, and Christian Helping Hands.
