Small Group Ministries

Have you ever heard this comment? "I enjoyed the church more when it was small because, back then, I used to know everyone!" This statement reflects two important concepts: 1. people really enjoy their church when they know others on a personal basis; and 2. small groups are the best format to build personal relationships within any church - large or small. The purpose of Hope's Small Group ministry is to strengthen our congregation by focusing on building strong personal relationships within our membership.

What is a small group? A small group is a gathering of 3-12 people that meet for the purpose of: Mutual care and encouragement Prayer and worship Practical Bible Study Missional outreach and service Each group independently chooses the topic of its study and the nature of its missional service and outreach.

What Are The Benefits Of Belonging To A small group? In a small group you can: Learn more about God through the Bible, Grow in your Christian faith, Develop closer friendships with other people, Give and receive care during life's ups and downs, Pray and worship God in a small group environment, Discover and develop talents for your Christian vocation Reach out to others in practical ways.
