describing who we are as Christians, Lutherans, and LCMS Lutherans.
Hope Lutheran Church is people – sinful people who have been called by God to be HIS people. Through baptism, God has declared us to be his own and has forgiven all of our sins through the death and resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. As his children we return again and again to hear God’s Word – his Law, and his Gospel, or “Good News” for us and to receive his Sacraments. As followers of Jesus, we want to reach out in love to others who do not yet know what Jesus has done for them.
As Lutherans, the people of Hope believe that we have been saved by the grace of God alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Our sole rule and norm for life and salvation is the Word of God as we have in the Old and New Testaments.
As a member church of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, we are in fellowship and work together with over 6000 other LCMS congregations who share a common confession of faith. For more information on the LCMS, and who Jesus is go to www.lcms.org or contact us – we would be glad to talk!
